90 YEARS OF INNOVATION - WITH “GREEK DNA”
Innovation is an inseparable part of ΥΙΟTIS’ Company history. Ioannis and Maria Yiotis’ initial goal when they founded the company in 1930, was to offer Greek children innovative, nutritious, food made with pure ingredients from crops grown in Greece. The result was JOTIS Rice Cereal and JOTIS Maize Cereal Cream, the first infant and baby food produced in Greece. These products contributed to a reduction in child mortality which was extremely high at the time.
From that day on, we have never stopped innovating. We focus on identifying and following new trends. Because of this, we are continually introducing new elements to our diets - from JOTIS Farina, the first self-rising flour, up to the innovative JOTIS Sweet & Balance range which is the first complete range of desserts with a low glycemic index, also suitable for people with diabetes. All our products are based on JOTIS natural raw materials and high nutritional value.
Today, the company remains 100% Greek and we have been steadily playing a significant part in strengthening the Greek economy by consistently implementing our investment plans. In 2017 we introduced the "Hellenic Research and Innovation Center" (HRIC), which gives us the ability and the momentum to increase the checks and controls, we carry out on our Food Production.
But none of these would have happened without our people. Their dedication and commitment to the company values contribute vitally to the long-term success of the company.
