Responsibilities
- Pick up guests according to requests, appointments, or schedules from the pre-arranged locations
- Operate and maintain transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy;
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary;
- Fuel the vehicles;
- Follow up and Ensure that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported
- Document customer usage; trip reports; accident and incident reports as necessary
- Provide passengers with assistance entering and exiting vehicles, and help them with any luggage
- Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort
- Provide other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service
Requirements
- Ability to establish effective professional relationships with customers, co-workers, and upper level staff and employees;
- Ability to see details at a distance or in low light situations
- Ability to prepare concise and accurate records and reports
- Extensive knowledge of the operations and features of assigned vehicle(s);
- Ability to recognize vehicle maintenance needs;
- Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs;
- Customer Service Orientation
- Skilled in reasoning skills to interpret policies and procedures, maps, and route directions;
- Ability to administer first aid
