  • Draft, revise, and implement key compliance policies (Compliance, Whistleblowing, Investigation).
  • Ensure policies align with regulatory requirements, internal practices, and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on FRA laws and regulations related to microfinance, advising management on changes.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of policies and procedures to assess and address compliance risks.
  • Identify compliance risks and propose solutions to mitigate them across the organization.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement solutions and track their effectiveness.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.
  • Manage compliance-related inquiries from various departments and provide timely guidance.
  • Conduct compliance checks to identify and address potential violations.
  • Conduct governance assessments and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Lead and deliver compliance training and awareness sessions for staff.
  • Review and investigate compliance-related violations and ensure proper action is taken.
  • Maintain clear documentation of complaints, investigations, and resolutions.
  • Review and assess incidents (e.g., fraud) and participate in investigations and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • University Degree, Bachelor of Business Administration or Commerce.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a compliance / AML officer preferable Financial sectors.
  • Knowledge of FRA’s regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work independently/on own initiative and as part of the team and ability to both work with accuracy and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and comfortable growing and developing with the Group.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic is required.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple compliance projects and regulatory deadlines efficiently.
