Job Description:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance secure and user-friendly WordPress websites.
- Establish and guide website architecture, implementing best practices for scalability and performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze project requirements, provide technical insights, and offer estimates for new features or updates.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to WordPress environments, including plugin integrations, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain responsive websites, adhering to W3C standards and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in daily monitoring tasks and monthly security scans, ensuring compliance with industry security standards.
- Integrate and support tools like marketing automation platforms (e.g., Hubspot) and web analytics tools (e.g., Piwik Pro, GA4).
- Work on custom plugin development and optimization for enhanced site functionality.
- Support content teams by ensuring multilingual functionality, SEO optimizations, and accessibility compliance.
- Deliver clean, well-documented code aligned with project timelines and quality expectations.
- Communicate professionally with project stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years of WordPress expertise.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress Custom Theme Development, Plugin Development, and advanced PHP/MYSQL.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- In-depth understanding of responsive design techniques.
- Daily website monitoring using tools like WP Engine and iThemes Security Pro, with regular vulnerability assessments.
- Experience working with global websites that require multilingual capabilities, product catalogs, and high traffic.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and integration with tools like Algolia and Yoast.
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot) and analytics platforms (e.g., Piwik Pro, Google Analytics).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and fix complex issues efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
