Formulation Assistant

Job brief

We are looking for a detail-oriented Formulation Assistant to support the development of Nawah Scientific pharmaceutical formulations through literature surveys, pre-formulation studies, characterization of materials, Lab-scale trials, and inventory management, while assisting in the manufacturing of pilot and validation batches under the guidance of the manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct literature surveys, patent searches, pre-formulation studies, and incompatibility studies.
• Characterize raw materials and branded product samples across various dosage forms.
• Coordinate with lab technicians for inventory management and stock reviews.
• Assist in preparing formulation trials under the guidance of the manager.
• Document and prepare lab-scale trials, characterizations, and all practical work using the relevant templates, and submit samples for analysis.
• Oversee the manufacturing of pilot and validation batches at outsourced sites, under the supervision of the Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

Must-Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical formulations.
• Experience in pharmaceutical companies or factories.
• Ability to follow good laboratory practices (GLP).
• Good in Microsoft Office and relevant software for documentation and data management.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with inventory management and stock review processes.
• Experience with pilot and validation batch manufacturing at outsourced sites.
