Job Description

Category Plan:

  • Prepares an annual brand marketing plan ensuring conformance with market share and budget requirements.

Overall Marketing Plan

  • Contributes to the department marketing planning to ensure development of an integrated plan.

Channel Strategy

  • Designs, develops and executes marketing strategies for product range which determines appropriate positioning and supports new product launch.
  • Marketing Support Activities:
  • Develops marketing support activities which enable direct sales for business units.

Product Development

  • Provides input to development strategy across product range handled to ensure new or enhanced products meet category requirements.

Interface For Category

Acts as the key interface for all product related issues across the category

Modifications Of Plans

Uses market and competitor intelligence to monitor customer and competitor behaviour and build into revised category plans

Performance Monitor

Monitors performance within category against plans and implements corrective action as appropriate

Supervision And Work Allotment

Supervises staff, plans, organizes and priorities workloads within area of responsibility in order that resources are used effectively and work is completed within set deadlines.

Partnerships

Develops and maintains relationship with key partners and customers in order to ensure benefits of associations are maximized.

Staff Leadership And Development

Lead the assigned team towards the achievement of their individual and collective objectives, while supporting their motivation and development in order to sustain and enhance team performance.

Manages the implementation of Health and Safety policies and procedures that create and instil an organizational culture that recognizes employee safety and health issues and the importance of protecting the employees and company assets in the function.
