The Senior Specialist, Community Engagement is responsible for demonstrating the value of ADNOC to the UAE through initiatives like ICV & MIITE, positioning ADNOC as a leading incubator of UAE talent and a case study for Emiratization. This role is pivotal in providing expertise in internal, change, and culture communications to businesses and functions, and in delivering group-wide change communication programs that enhance the brand and the ‘Energy for Life’ (E4L) initiative. Additionally, the role involves promoting a high-performance and enabling culture through effective culture communications.

Job Specific Accountabilities
Develop and implement strategies to demonstrate ADNOC’s value to the UAE, focusing on In-Country Value (ICV) and Make in the UAE (MIITE) initiatives.
Position ADNOC as a prime example of Emiratization, showcasing its role as an incubator of UAE talent.
Provide Centre of excellence (COE) in internal, change, and culture communications to ADNOC businesses and functions.
Deliver best-in-class group-wide change communication programs that reinforce ADNOC’s brand and the Energy for Life (E4L) initiative.
Create and execute culture communications strategies to foster a high-performance and enabling culture within ADNOC.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to align community engagement initiatives with ADNOC’s strategic objectives.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of community engagement strategies and initiatives.
Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.

Plan and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Budgets
Provide input for preparation of the Division budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
Implement approved Function policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.
Performance Management
Contribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Division in line with the Company Performance framework.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.
Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.
Reports
Provide inputs to prepare Section MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 years’ experience in community engagement, corporate communications, or a related field, with a proven track record in strategic communications planning and execution.
Strong understanding of the UAE’s cultural landscape and government initiatives like ICV & MIITE.
Experience in change management and internal communications within a large, complex organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to craft messages for diverse audiences.
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms.
