Ensure all products comply with Egyptian National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) standards, Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS), and other local and global food safety regulations.
Conduct routine inspections, audits, and lab tests to ensure raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet quality and safety standards.
Develop, implement, and oversee HACCP plans, ISO 22000, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the production facility.
Assess local and international suppliers to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Conduct training sessions for employees on food safety best practices, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
Identify areas for continuous improvement in food production and quality control to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Investigate any food safety and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor preventive measures.
Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, audits, and compliance reports for internal use and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role in Egypt’s food industry.
HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, PCQI, FSSC 22000, or NFSA food safety certification.
Strong understanding of NFSA regulations, Egyptian food laws, and global food safety standards
