Responsibilities

  • Ensure all products comply with Egyptian National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) standards, Egyptian Organization for Standardization (EOS), and other local and global food safety regulations.
  • Conduct routine inspections, audits, and lab tests to ensure raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet quality and safety standards.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee HACCP plans, ISO 22000, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the production facility.
  • Assess local and international suppliers to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees on food safety best practices, hygiene standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement in food production and quality control to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • Investigate any food safety and quality issues, implement corrective actions, and monitor preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of quality control tests, audits, and compliance reports for internal use and regulatory inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a similar role in Egypt’s food industry.
  • HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, PCQI, FSSC 22000, or NFSA food safety certification.
  • Strong understanding of NFSA regulations, Egyptian food laws, and global food safety standards
