Chief Accountant (Real Estate Experience ONLY)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in the real estate industry to oversee and manage our company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of UAE accounting regulations, IFRS, VAT compliance, and real estate financial management. This role involves handling financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts in compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll functions.
• Ensure VAT compliance, timely filing of VAT returns, and reconciliation of VAT accounts.
• Supervise monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and financial reconciliations.
• Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, liquidity, and investment strategies.
• Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis for business decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.
• Manage financial transactions related to real estate sales, leasing, and property management.
• Ensure proper cost control, expense management, and revenue tracking within the real estate operations.
