Role                     : Murex Front Office Consultant

Location              : Abu Dhabi, UAE

Duration              : Long term renewable contract

Job Scope

  • Work closely with front-office users to understand their requirements and translate them into Murex system configurations.
  • Customize and configure Murex modules for trading, risk, and pricing functionality based on business needs.
  • Support the setup and optimization of front-office trade flows, ensuring smooth trade capture, position management, and pricing.
  • Monitor trade booking processes, handle discrepancies, and ensure accurate data flow from front-office to downstream systems.
  • Provide day-to-day support for traders and other front-office staff using the Murex platform.
  • Troubleshoot any issues related to trade entry, risk reporting, pricing, or system performance.
  • Conduct training sessions to help front-office staff understand new features or enhancements in the Murex system.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the front-office functionality within Murex and propose enhancements to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability.
  • Participate in system upgrades and work with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the configurations, workflows, and processes within the Murex front-office modules.
  • Prepare reports related to trade flows, pricing discrepancies, system performance, and issue resolutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Murex modules, including Trade Capture, Risk Management, Pricing, and Market Data.
  • Strong SQL and/or Murex MxML skills for customization and data extraction.
  • Familiarity with trading system integrations (e.g., FIX, Market Data feeds).
