As a Purchasing Manager at On-Hire, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our procurement processes. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the purchasing operations, ensuring that we acquire goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, from supplier selection and negotiation to order execution and delivery follow-up.
- Collaborating closely with various departments to anticipate needs and align purchasing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to foster effective communication and resolve any issues that arise.
- Tracking and analyzing purchasing data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and improvements in the supply chain.
- Preparing detailed reports and presentations for senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Mentoring and leading a team of purchasing professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-oriented environment.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the automotive or tire industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage.
