    • This encompasses both SEO and paid advertising on search engines (like Google Ads).
    • It involves managing paid campaigns to drive traffic to websites.

Key Responsibilities of a Search Engine Operations Professional (SEO/SEM Specialist):

  • Keyword Research:
    • Identifying relevant keywords that people use to search for information.
  • On-Page Optimization:
    • Optimizing website content, meta tags, headings, and URLs.
  • Off-Page Optimization:
    • Building high-quality backlinks from other websites.
  • Technical SEO:
    • Ensuring website structure, speed, and mobile-friendliness are optimized.
  • Content Strategy:
    • Developing and implementing content plans that align with SEO goals.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitoring website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
