Position: Team Leader - Rides & Attractions Mechanical
Location: Six Flags Qiddiya City and Aquarabia
The Team Leader of Rides & Attractions Mechanical is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of all mechanical systems affiliated with rides and attractions within the park. This role ensures guest safety and satisfaction through effective mechanical operations and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and direction to the mechanical team.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of rides and attractions to ensure operational excellence.
- Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on rides, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance and repairs, minimizing downtime.
- Monitor and manage inventory of mechanical parts and tools required for operations.
- Ensure proper documentation and reporting of maintenance activities.
- Train and mentor team members on mechanical systems and safety protocols.
- Act as a point of contact for any mechanical issues or emergencies during operational hours.
- Participate in safety training and contribute to the creation of a safety-conscious work environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in budget preparation and management related to mechanical operations.
- Work collaboratively with management to develop strategies for improving operational efficiency.
- Stay updated on industry trends and innovations related to rides and attractions.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent; Mechanical Engineering degree or certifications preferred.
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or engineering, specifically in the amusement park or entertainment industry.
Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role is essential.
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems related to rides and attractions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in amusement parks.
- Proficiency with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
