700Apps is seeking a highly skilled Senior Draftsman to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical drawings and plans for various construction projects. You will work closely with architects and engineers to ensure that designs are implemented correctly and comply with industry standards. As a Senior Draftsman, you will also mentor and support junior draftsmen, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and prepare detailed architectural and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and modify existing drawings for accuracy and compliance with design standards.
- Ensure drawings reflect changes in project scope, materials, or construction methods.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and verify that project drawings align with construction requirements.
- Mentor junior draftsmen, providing guidance and support in best practices and technical skills.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure integrated project design and documentation.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and project documentation.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting, particularly in architectural or engineering projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools) and other design software.
- Strong knowledge of drafting standards, building codes, and construction methods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and mentor junior staff.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
