Solution Architect - Integrated Business Planning

Department: Digital Enterprise Platform, Digital & Technology Platform Services.

Location: Egypt, Cairo.


We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect who is accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio. Also, will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. product managers, product analysts, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits). Within the solution development lifecycle this role will be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case. They will provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases driving alignment with and adoption of architecture guiding principles, reference architectures and standards.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Platform Architect to identify business opportunities and work with key roles (product managers, product analysts) to develop initial business cases for potential solution development efforts

• Perform highest level solution alternative analysis to support strategic decision making for a given portfolio

• Oversee and support Functional & Technical Requirements gathering

• Develop high level solution designs and conceptual architectures that address business, application, information and technology architectural domains

• Provide consulting and conduct reviews through the development cycle

• Provide requirements to Enterprise Architects that drive strategic direction for Application, Information, Security and Technology architectures

• Identify and communicate components and services required for solutions within a given portfolio

• Partner with Enterprise Architects and peer Solution Architects to identify and defined Enterprise services and components required to support business solution development.


ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

University Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Technical Solution Architect, Business Analyst, or in a related role within the supply chain management domain.

• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the Blue Yonder platform (or a similar system), including Demand, ESG, and Scheduling modules, and their integration with other architecture blocks in the value chain.

• Solution Design: Proven ability to design high-performance, scalable, and reliable solutions that meet business requirements in the supply chain planning domain.

• Integration Knowledge: Expertise in integration techniques and best practices for Blue Yonder, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient data flow between systems.

• Product Roadmap Management: Strong experience managing product roadmaps, including feature releases, onboarding new functionalities, ensuring code compliance, and maintaining governance standards.

• Quality Assurance: Ensuring the quality of the implemented solutions through rigorous testing, validation, and performance tuning.

• Communication Skills: Strong ability to effectively articulate technical solutions to stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Proven experience working efficiently with cross-functional teams.

• Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead solution development efforts.

• Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust solutions to evolving requirements.

• Innovation: Creative approach to designing and implementing innovative solutions.

• English Proficiency: Excellent command of the English language is required.
