The CAD Technician & 3D Visualizer is responsible for creating 2D and 3D computer-aided design drawings and models to support the design and development of various products and projects.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for event concept, setup and layout
- Collaborate effectively with the project creative lead, production supervisor, event manager and setup supervisor.
- Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings, including elevations, sections, and construction details for different event design.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of design revisions and project progress.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant UAE building codes, regulations and authority requirements .
- Develop high-quality 3D visualizations to communicate design concepts to different stakeholders.
- Review and approve shop drawings from subcontractors to ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Conduct site visits as required to verify dimensions, conditions, and coordinate with contractors.
- Assist in material selection based on design requirements and project budget.
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs required for the project.
- Full English proficiency is required
- Additional spoken languages are a plus
- Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, 3d Max, Vray, Lumion other CAD software, Sketchup, and Revit
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
