About The Role

Are you passionate about aviation security and committed to creating robust security protocols and a strong safety culture throughout our organisation?

In this role, you will be overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive security protocols that will ensure the safety of our passengers, staff, and operations.

Your responsibilities will involve leading efforts to protect the airline from a wide range of potential threats, ensuring that all security measures, including airport access control, baggage screening, and in-flight procedures, remain effective, up-to-date and compliant with international and regional safety and security standards, including those set by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

You will be well-versed in aviation security regulations and have a proven track record of managing crisis situations. You will be responsible for conducting vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in security processes, implementing corrective actions when necessary, and ensuring that all employees are thoroughly trained on security protocols and emergency response procedures.

Yours is a role which will work closely with airport authorities, law enforcement, customs and other airlines to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive security network.

Your ability to effectively coordinate and manage responses to security incidents will be vital to maintaining a secure environment for both passengers and staff.

About You

Degree qualified, you will have at least 10 years of sound experience in airline or airport security operations management.

Naturally, you must demonstrate extensive knowledge of airport security regulations and compliance standards, including ICAO and proven experience in crisis management.

A deep understanding of the security needs of airline operations is essential to your success in this role as well as confidence in leading security teams in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
