Qiddiya Investment Company invites applications for the role of Project Director - Hand Over & Completion. In this significant position, you will oversee all aspects of the handover and completion processes for our expansive portfolio of entertainment and leisure projects. Your role is crucial to ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards and delivered on time, enhancing the overall guest experience and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Strategy Implementation: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive quality strategy to ensure quality outcomes, value for money, and certainty in project delivery.
  • Quality Leadership: Demonstrate a strong passion for quality, bringing extensive experience to continuously improve quality performance across the Qiddiya Earthworks and Roads program.
  • Project Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Executive Earthworks and Roads on project quality performance, identifying key issues and suggesting solutions.
  • Clear Communication: Maintain clear, accurate, and focused communication in all forms to effectively relay quality expectations and outcomes to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive Quality Approach: Adopt a proactive approach to quality management, implementing a risk-based approach to anticipate and mitigate potential quality issues.
  • Project Team Collaboration: Work closely with and provide proactive support to project teams, ensuring alignment with quality goals and standards throughout project execution.
  • Risk & Opportunity Management: Contribute to risk and opportunity management related to quality, identifying potential risks and opportunities and developing strategies to manage them effectively.
  • Quality Function Performance: Oversee the performance of the quality function within the project, providing coaching, mentoring, and support to quality representatives in project teams.
  • Quality Audit Regime: Implement a robust quality audit regime across the Earthworks and Roads program, ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in project management, focusing on handover and completion of large-scale projects.
  • Proven experience in managing project completion and handover processes in the construction or hospitality sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and quality assurance practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive results through collaboration.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a stakeholder-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
