Senior System Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

· Server Management Configure, manage, and maintain virtual machines, Nutanix and VM ware clusters to ensure high availability and reliability.

· Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux systems (Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).

· Monitor server performance and implement necessary optimizations

· Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.

· Manage Enterprise SQL Server environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery

· Deploy, manage, and monitor Azure cloud services and resources

· Ensure the security, scalability, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure

· Implement and manage Azure backup and disaster recovery solutions.

· Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate system administration tasks

· Implement infrastructure as code using tools like PowerShell, Azure

· Automate deployment and configuration processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

· Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

· Ensure compliance with Company standards and regulations.

· Generate and analyze reports on system performance, security, and usage.

· Proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users.

· Configure and manage security protocols such as SSL/TLS, HTTPS, Certificates, SSO, and IAM.

· Configure and support LAN, WAN, DNS and internet systems.

· Set up and maintain VPN connections, including IPSec and PPTP.

· Provide Level 2 and 3 support, including incident handling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for critical events

· Monitor server KPIs (storage, CPU, and Memory) to maintain optimal operational health

· Manage local users and groups, files, and permissions, and system services.

· Deliver quality reports regarding infrastructure and operations.

· Managing backup technologies and disaster recovery planning and procedures.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

· Ability to Organize (Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details and information) Proven experience as a System Administrator with expertise in virtualization, Clustering and High Availability.

· Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.

· Proficiency in shell scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)

· Ability to travel to corporate branches.

· Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

· 5+ years of experience as a system Administrator.

· Certified Microsoft System Administrator (MSCA)
