Qiddiya Investment Company is on the lookout for a Senior Director - Health & Safety to lead our commitment to safety excellence within one of the most ambitious entertainment projects in Saudi Arabia. In this senior leadership role, you will oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health and safety programs across all aspects of Qiddiya's operations.
Your expertise will ensure that our workplace adheres to the highest safety standards, promoting a culture of health and safety that protects the wellbeing of all employees, contractors, and visitors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a robust background in industrial safety and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation and execution of health and safety strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve organizational goals.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazards identification to mitigate potential risks to health and safety.
- Oversee the development and delivery of training programs to cultivate a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the organization.
- Manage incident investigations, analyzing data to identify trends and implementing corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Act as a primary liaison with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Monitor health and safety performance metrics and report findings to executive leadership, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Champion best practices in health and safety across all projects and departments.
- Support project managers in integrating health and safety strategies into all phases of project delivery.
- Stay current on industry developments, regulations, and technologies to promote innovative safety solutions.
متطلبات الوظيفة
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 15 -18 years of relevant experience in health and safety management, specifically in large-scale project environments.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective health and safety programs and initiatives.
- Exceptional leadership and people management skills; ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional certifications in health and safety (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) are highly desirable.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
