Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team within the banking sector. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with 1-2 years of experience in project coordination who is eager to develop their career in banking and financial services. The successful candidate will assist in the management and delivery of banking projects, supporting project managers and teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Support: Assist the Project Manager in the coordination and execution of various banking projects, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met.
  • Scheduling & Documentation: Prepare project schedules, track progress, and ensure all project documentation (e.g., project plans, meeting minutes, status reports) is up to date and accurate.
  • Communication & Coordination: Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring seamless communication and ensuring all parties are informed of project progress, changes, or challenges.
  • Task Tracking: Monitor project tasks and deadlines, ensuring that team members are on track with their assignments. Escalate any delays or potential risks to the project manager.
  • Resource Management: Assist in managing resources, tracking the allocation of project materials, and ensuring team members have the necessary tools and information to perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Reporting: Assist in preparing regular project status reports for stakeholders, highlighting key project milestones, risks, and accomplishments.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Support the team in ensuring that all banking projects adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in tracking and resolving issues that may impact project delivery or quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist in the ongoing improvement of project management processes, suggesting new tools, technologies, and best practices for more effective project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the banking, financial services, or fintech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Basic knowledge of banking operations, regulatory compliance, and common banking systems is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project, Asana) is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
