We are looking for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Retail Cashier to manage transactions and provide excellent service. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, good communication, and a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer purchases quickly and accurately.
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments securely.
- Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per store policies.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Assist customers with inquiries, product information, and promotions.
- Check for pricing accuracy and apply discounts when necessary.
- Ensure cash register balances at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance customer experience.
- Follow loss prevention and security procedures.
- Restock checkout supplies and report any system issues.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of experience as a Cashier or in retail sales (UAE experience preferred).
- Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling.
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and a friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
