We are currently seeking a visionary and experienced Director - Sustainable Environmental to lead our sustainability initiatives and programs. This role is vital in ensuring that all projects align with our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability practices.
As the Director of Sustainable Environmental, you will oversee the integration of sustainable practices across all stages of project development. You will be responsible for developing and implementing environmental strategies that minimize our ecological footprint while enhancing the quality of life for our stakeholders. This position involves collaboration with various internal departments, external partners, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and to promote sustainability efforts.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Coordinate environmental compliance efforts and ensure adherence to local and international environmental regulations.
- Oversee and enhance sustainable design, construction, and operational practices across all projects.
- Lead assessments and audits to evaluate the environmental impact of projects and develop mitigation plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to incorporate sustainable practices into project planning and execution.
- Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and community groups, to promote sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technologies related to sustainability.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental policy, or related roles.
- Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks, environmental regulations, and sustainable development practices.
- Proven experience in integrating sustainability into real estate development processes.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Professional certifications in sustainability or environmental management (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001) are a plus.
- Experience in the Middle East region and familiarity with environmental regulations are desirable.
