The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier performance to achieve optimal value for Advansys. This role requires a strong understanding of procurement processes and extensive experience with SAP to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the procurement function.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with organizational goals while leveraging SAP for procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and potential supplier risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and engineering, to support procurement initiatives and drive value.
  • Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize SAP for procurement data reporting and analysis, tracking procurement metrics to improve decision-making.
  • Mentor and train junior procurement staff on procurement processes and SAP usage.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for cost savings and process improvements across the procurement function.

متطلبات الوظيفة

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of procurement experience, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Expertise in SAP modules related to procurement (SAP MM or equivalent) is required.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Solid understanding of procurement best practices and compliance regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
