Planning Manager (DEL 304)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Manager to oversee and manage the planning activities for the Qiddiya Development Project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and forecasting are executed efficiently and align with the project objectives. This individual will work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work while maintaining project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for all phases of the Qiddiya development.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks.
• Prepare short-term and long-term project plans, considering scope, resources, and constraints.
• Identify critical path activities and proactively address any potential delays.
2. Resource Management:
• Monitor and manage the allocation of resources to ensure effective utilization and avoid bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with department heads and contractors to assess resource needs for ongoing and upcoming tasks.
3. Budget and Cost Control:
• Work closely with the project management team to establish project budgets and ensure adherence to financial constraints.
• Monitor and report on project cost and schedule performance, identifying and addressing any deviations from the planned budgets.
4. Risk Management:
• Identify project risks and provide solutions to mitigate potential delays or budget overruns.
• Regularly update the risk management plan, ensuring it is communicated to all stakeholders.
5. Stakeholder Coordination:
• Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
• Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure transparency and visibility of project timelines, milestones, and any potential challenges.
6. Project Performance Monitoring:
• Track and analyze project performance against established KPIs and milestones.
• Implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain project goals and objectives.
7. Compliance & Standards:
• Ensure all planning activities are conducted in compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Maintain a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail in all project planning documentation.
