About the Position
We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to enhance our dynamic team. The perfect candidate will have a diverse skill set that integrates both user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, enabling them to provide best-practice design solutions that support our Product and Development teams within an Agile framework.
The UI/UX Designer should be adept at working on various desktop and mobile applications, creating sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes. Strong creative and design skills, coupled with familiarity in a range of design tools, are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with Product Management and Engineering teams to devise and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visual aesthetics, and overarching user experiences.
- Lead all visual design phases from initial concept through to final delivery to Engineering.
- Develop mobile and responsive web wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to articulate interaction and design concepts effectively.
- Establish and promote comprehensive design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Deliver design solutions across multiple platforms.
- Originate unique ideas that enhance simplicity and user-friendliness in complex design challenges.
- Maintain brand consistency and creative design standards.
- Transform approved design mock-ups into high-quality HTML, CSS, and necessary graphics while ensuring responsiveness and a seamless user experience.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and adjust approaches as needed to meet requirements.
- Create sitemaps, wireframes, and prototypes to outline the structural design.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in user experience design or a related field and possess over 5 years of experience in UI for mobile and responsive web, including at least 2 years in an Agile/Scrum development setting.
- Display a strong portfolio showcasing exemplary UI design skills.
- Have substantial experience in developing wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Be proficient with software such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Sketch, Invision, Axure, UXPin, Balsamiq, and Framer.
- Demonstrate expertise in User-Centric Design (UCD), including rapid prototyping and usability and accessibility considerations.
- Exhibit exceptional visual design capabilities with a keen understanding of user-system interaction.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, techniques, and technologies within the UI design landscape.

Objectives of this role:

- Conceptualise original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Establish consistent brand and creative designs
- Convert approved design mock-ups into high quality HTML, CSS and required graphics ensuring responsiveness and seamless user experience
- Collect feedback from stakeholders and adjust approach to cater to criteria
- Build sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes to outline structure
You will be a good fit if you:

- Have a bachelor’s degree in user experience, design or related field with 5+ years’ experience in mobile and responsive web UI experience, of which 2+ years must have been in an Agile / Scrum development process
- Possess demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Have solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and sitemaps
- Are proficient in the following software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, Sketch, Invision, Axure, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer
- Are experienced in User centric design (UCD) rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns
- Have excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Are up to date with the latest UI trends, techniques and technologies
