Job Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within Egypt ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to meet the organization's needs. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating cost and T&C, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with local and international procurement regulations, and leading a team of procurement professionals to achieve the company’s objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Scope: Indirect and direct categories
  • Develop and implement country-specific procurement strategies that align with the organization's global objectives and local market conditions
  • Analyze procurement needs, trends, and market conditions to forecast demand and optimize decisions
  • Review procurement procedures to set up common rules and practices in District, based on the policies.
  • Build a procurement yearly roadmap with an identified action plan
