The Procurement Specialist is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within Egypt ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services to meet the organization's needs. This role involves developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating cost and T&C, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with local and international procurement regulations, and leading a team of procurement professionals to achieve the company’s objectives.
Job Responsibilities
Scope: Indirect and direct categories
Develop and implement country-specific procurement strategies that align with the organization's global objectives and local market conditions
Analyze procurement needs, trends, and market conditions to forecast demand and optimize decisions
Review procurement procedures to set up common rules and practices in District, based on the policies.
Build a procurement yearly roadmap with an identified action plan
