Summary: We are looking for a highly organized and creative Events Manager to lead the planning and execution of internal employee events, activations, and engagement initiatives. This role will involve working closely with external suppliers, vendors, and event agencies while managing budgets, sourcing locations, and ensuring seamless execution of all internal events. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating memorable employee experiences that align with our company culture and values. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and excellent communication, as well as an individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and ensuring flawless execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic internal events calendar to enhance employee engagement and company culture.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver internal events, including team-building activities, product launches, corporate celebrations, and employee recognition events.
- Manage the end-to-end event planning process, including venue selection, contract negotiations, vendor management, and logistics, while fostering strong relationships with external agencies and suppliers for seamless execution.
- Oversee procurement and management of purchase orders (POs), ensuring efficient and cost-effective event planning.
- Track and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenditures align with financial guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align event planning with company objectives and branding.
- Ensure all events adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Gather and analyze event feedback to continuously improve future activations and engagement strategies.
- Partner with the internal communications manager and wider P&C team to drive event participation and engagement.
- Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional execution.
- Identify emerging event trends and implement innovative engagement strategies.
- Maintain event documentation, run of show, including budgets, contracts, and reports for future reference and evaluation.
- Develop creative event concepts that align with the company’s brand and values.
- Develop and implement post-event evaluations to measure impact and engagement, using insights to refine future events.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure events align with key business initiatives and company milestones.
- Negotiate with and onboard preferred vendors to optimize cost savings, quality and efficiency for all events.
- Support employer branding efforts by integrating engaging employee experiences into external-facing platforms (e.g., social media, careers pages).
- Manage event-related merchandise, gifts, and giveaways, ensuring alignment with brand identity and employee appreciation strategies.
