The Opportunity:

The Chief Information Officer will be responsible for leading the company's information technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving digital transformation initiatives. The CIO will oversee all aspects of IT operations, including infrastructure, security, software development, and data management. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of technology trends and their impact on the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's business objectives and drives innovation.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and competitive advantage.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
  • Manage the company's data governance and analytics programs, leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making.
  • Ensure the highest standards of cybersecurity and risk management to protect the company's assets and customer information.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritize technology investments that deliver business value.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact on the company's business model and operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, partners, and industry stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CIO or senior IT executive in the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the insurance industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of leading successful digital transformation initiatives and IT strategy development.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, software development, and data management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing long-term vision with short-term goals.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
