Job Description
This role involves the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the following technologies: Design of mechanical systems, devices, equipment and machines; installing and maintaining mechanically functioning equipment; simulating a wide range of interactions and evaluate performance in real world scenarios; and develop prototype for manufacturability, testing and validation.
Job Responsibilities
Design of the new parts (if required)
Technical leader of supplier relationship
Leading of weekly meetings with supplier (including affected parties, e.g. SGV, RHN, design ops, validation....)
Active participation in regular SGV/supplier/CoC performance meetings
Leading OVC reviews together with CAD-designer (meet corporate standards / requirements / deviation approval)
Manage APQP (grid creation / all deliverables of APQP process)
Provide input for program gate meetings to involved persons (e.g. CP / RPC / RTSS / RTV...)
Consultation and selection of suppliers
Ensure QCDP status of scope is achieved / prepare QCDP status for cp and for project reviews
Manage PEPP and multiPEPP process for serial life
Insure convergence of style related items with styling and project team
Manage deviation/derogation for non-safety relevant items (e.g. dimensional, appearance....)
Manage style related items with styling / STOM department and project team
Lead "technical" issues and change management
