Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Front Office Manager to join our team in the beautiful coastal city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth hotel operations.

  • Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations and guest services
  • Provide leadership and support to front office staff, fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to maintain high service standards
  • Handle guest complaints and escalations professionally and empathetically
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and resolve issues promptly
  • Implement and maintain loyalty programs to enhance guest satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to achieve departmental goals
  • Assist in developing and implementing innovative strategies to improve guest experiences
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and local regulations
  • Participate in revenue management initiatives, including upselling techniques
  • Manage shift operations, including staff scheduling and workload distribution
  • Stay updated on local tourism trends and events in Sharm El-Sheikh to provide valuable information to guests

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a front office or customer service role within the hospitality industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in hotel management software, preferably Opera Cloud or similar systems
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are a plus
  • First Aid certification
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Familiarity with local culture, tourism industry, and hospitality regulations in Sharm El-Sheikh and Egypt
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm for mentoring and developing team members
