Job Description

• Ensure all medication orders are scanned into the dispensing system and staged correctly for each delivery route.
• Monitor workflow and ensure consistent product movement from the pharmacy to the delivery dispensing system.
• Ensure all medication orders are neatly sorted and packed within delivery totes.
• Prepare and stage delivery manifests and ancillary paperwork for the correct delivery totes.
• Prepare for the next delivery route by setting up empty delivery totes and applying new delivery barcode labels.
• Sort returned signed delivery manifests and scan them into the document imaging system.
• Assist in the preparation of emergency drug kit deliveries, including tracking and expiration monitoring.
• Restock and order consumable supplies for the department.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Comply with all OSH and infection control policies, standards, and procedures and cooperate with hospital management to meet those requirements.
• Work in accordance with documented OSH procedures and instructions.
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Notify OSH hazards, incidents, near misses, and issues, and assist with the preparation of risk assessments and incident reports.
• Comply with waste management procedures and policies.
• Attend applicable OSH/Infection control training programs, mock drills, and awareness programs.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to work at a moderate speed.
• Ability to work during inclement weather.
• Good organization and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.
