The Dynamics 365 Finance Solution Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) solutions to meet business requirements. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders, deep technical and functional expertise, and the ability to translate business processes into system configurations.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Implementation
- Architect and implement D365 F&O solutions tailored to business needs.
- Analyze complex business requirements and develop IT strategies aligned with best practices.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry standards.
- Process Optimization
- Manage and maintain finance modules within D365 F&O.
- Define and improve finance processes, translating them into system configurations.
- Proactively optimize financial operations by proposing process or system changes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business process owners, IT teams, and external consultants.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance, demonstrations, and product education.
- Coordinate functional changes with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration.
- Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Level 2 support for system functionality, user access, and data integrity issues.
- Troubleshoot incidents related to customizations, integrations, and ISV solutions.
- Conduct testing and coordinate deployment of updates and new functionalities.
- Documentation & Training
- Create detailed documentation including conceptual designs, workflows, FAQs, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on D365 functionalities.
- System Monitoring & Updates
- Monitor system performance and implement improvements as needed.
- Stay updated on the latest features of D365 F&O to leverage new capabilities.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, or related fields.
- 3-5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations in functional or technical roles.
- Proven expertise in finance modules such as accounting, receivables, fixed assets depreciation, payment management.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis; knowledge of PL/SQL or Oracle databases is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps.
- Dynamics 365 Finance certifications preferred (e.g., Solution Architect or Power Platform certifications).
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with technical/non-technical stakeholders globally.
- Team-oriented mindset with leadership capabilities.
- Experience in broader ERP systems or financial systems architecture.
- Knowledge of Azure Integration Services and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
