Job Overview:
We are seeking a strategic, dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager to lead the product & business development and pricing strategy for our Home Loan Products. Reporting directly to the Head of Mortgage Products, this role is crucial in shaping the competitive positioning and profitability of our home loan offerings. You will focus on developing innovative product strategies & policies, refining pricing models, and driving business growth. This role also involves managing one direct report and working closely with a team responsible for home loan processes improvement, retention, services governance, and overall portfolio management, as well as other internal and external stakeholders within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of home loan products that align with market demands and customer needs, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market share for the home loan portfolio.
- Review and align home loan product policy with competition and changing customer need
- Ensure product offerings follow the bank internal policies and local regulatory requirements.
- Promotion and Profit:
- Achieve financial goals and increase conversion rates and leads for home loans through strategic promotions
- Develop and execute cross-sell opportunities and promotional offers to reduce the cost of acquisition and add value to customers
- Support sales team with marketing materials and streamlines processes to enhance their ability to convert leads
- Monitor leads assignment and sales agent performance, measuring conversion rates and customer follow up effectiveness
- Ensure consistent product branding standards across all branches and marketing materials.
- Work closely with 3rd party sales channel to boost contribution and have regular business performance reviews.
- Develop and execute strategies to support sourcing channels in the conversion of leads.
- Product Marketing Development:
- Identify and evaluate competitive products and pricing strategies to create attractive offers and promotions, increasing market share.
- Design and implement marketing campaigns, including digital marketing and SEO strategies, to drive customer acquisition and sales.
- Collaborate with external entities, both government and private, to co-market products and execute shared campaigns
- Plan marketing/event calendar for the year that resonate with target customers base and enhance lead conversion
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and threats, informing product and pricing strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of home loan products, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve financial targets.
- Work closely with the home loan team responsible for processes improvement, retention, services governance and portfolio management to ensure cohesive strategy execution and optimal product delivery.
- Collaborate with sales teams and learning and development to ensure alignment with product features and pricing strategies.
- Manage and mentor one direct report, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of product strategies with customer needs and business goals.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on product performance, pricing effectiveness, and market trends to senior management.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, business development or sales strategy within the banking – Home Loan/Mortgage Products.
- In-depth understanding of real estate market, financial regulations and customer needs related to home loans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and execute strategies that drive product performance, sales and profitability.
- Proven experience in leading teams and collaborating across departments to achieve business objectives.
- Exceptional skills in building and maintain relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
