The Project Engineer will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints. This role involves providing technical support, managing project documentation, and liaising with various stakeholders

Your new role, what's involved?

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk assessments.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
• Coordinate with design, manufacturing, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure projects adhere to quality standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and problems that arise during the project.
• Monitor engineering progress against budget and forecasted schedule.
• Prepare engineering budgets, project schedules, and project control budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Approve contract payments and variations in line with approval authority.
• Ensure timely project start-up and appropriate spare parts requirements
  
  

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or city development projects.
• Experience in project management of water and wastewater works is a plus.
• Knowledge of professional project management processes and procedures.
• Certification by NCEES, PMI, or a professional engineering board is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
