Position Overview
The Senior Data Analyst/Analytics Manager will lead the development and management of powering our real estate marketplace’s market intelligence features. This role requires deep expertise in data analysis, real estate market dynamics, and analytics to transform raw data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Preparation:
- Identify, source, and aggregate relevant real estate data from public records, government databases, private listings, and third-party providers specific to the KSA market.
- Clean, structure, and preprocess raw datasets (e.g., property prices, transaction histories, rental rates, demographic data) for use in analytics and market intelligence tools.
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ensure consistent and real-time data updates.
- Market Intelligence Development:
- Build and refine datasets to support key platform features such as property valuation models, market trends analysis, price forecasting, and neighborhood insights.
- Develop metrics and KPIs (average price per square meter, rental yield trends, supply-demand ratios) tailored to the Saudi real estate market.
- Analyze macroeconomic factors (population growth, urbanization rates, government policies like Vision 2030) and their impact on real estate trends.
- Data Modeling and Analysis:
- Create predictive models and algorithms to estimate property values, rental yields, and investment potential using statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover actionable insights for buyers, sellers, and investors on the platform.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating models against real-world benchmarks and user feedback.
- Collaboration and Strategy:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and UX designers to integrate data-driven features into the marketplace.
- Provide strategic recommendations to leadership based on data insights to enhance platform competitiveness and user experience.
- Partner with external data vendors or government entities in KSA to secure proprietary or exclusive datasets.
- Reporting and Visualization:
- Design and develop dashboards and visualizations (e.g., heatmaps, price trend graphs) to present market intelligence to end-users in an intuitive format.
- Prepare internal reports for stakeholders to monitor platform performance and data quality

Initial Phase (Pre-Launch)
- Build foundational datasets for property listings, historical sales, and rental data across key Saudi cities.
- Develop initial market intelligence features, such as property price indices and neighborhood ranking systems.
- Establish data quality standards and validation processes to ensure reliability at launch.
Launch Phase
- Support the integration of real-time data feeds into the platform.
- Analyze early user interactions with market intelligence tools to refine datasets and models.
- Provide insights to marketing and product teams to highlight unique selling points based on data.
Post-Launch Phase
- Scale data operations to include additional regions and property types (e.g., commercial real estate, land).
- Enhance predictive analytics with user-generated data (e.g., search patterns, saved listings).
- Continuously optimize algorithms to improve the accuracy and relevance of market insights.
Qualifications
∙Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
∙5+ years of experience in data analysis or analytics, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial role.
∙Proven expertise in real estate data analytics or a similar industry (e.g., PropTech, fintech, or e-commerce).
∙Proficiency in tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar for data manipulation and modeling.
∙Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud).
∙Familiarity with machine learning techniques for predictive analytics is a plus.
∙Strong understanding of the KSA real estate market or ability to quickly adapt to local market dynamics.
∙Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
∙Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
