Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Technical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and engineering teams, modifying engineering drawings, and ensuring successful project implementation related to traffic systems. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with customers before project implementation to answer all technical inquiries and specifications.
- Modify engineering drawings according to customer requirements and in compliance with the specifications of the General Traffic Department and the Ministry of Transport.
- Collaborate with factory representatives across different regions and provide necessary support.
- Provide technical support to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Design traffic intersections and prepare designs for approval by the project's end user.
- Assist in the design of traffic signs as required.
- Conduct field visits to sites to assess necessary requirements before implementing traffic signals and coordinate with representatives of companies and various entities.
- Prepare and send technical support files to clients, including supporting documents for approval by relevant parties.
- Determine future directions based on instructions from the Operations Department Manager, addressing potential challenges and solutions.
- Coordinate with the Operations Manager to notify customers of instructions prior to implementing traffic intersections.
- Obtain technical support files from the Technical Department Manager and stay updated on fees for importing materials, customs clearance, and material arrival times.
- Communicate with the accounts department to prepare invoices and bank guarantees required for customers, reviewing financial amounts due for payment with tax invoices.
- Visit customers to explain technical project details and address any issues they may encounter.
- Keep track of traffic system issues and ensure adherence to agreed timelines until resolution.
- Interact with clients via phone, email, or chat, providing clear written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain procedural documents and reports for all technical activities.
- Follow standard procedures to resolve issues by connecting them to relevant internal departments.
- Ensure proper documentation of all technical issues.
- Collaborate with the storekeeper to review material quantities available according to customer needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in a technical support or engineering role, preferably in traffic systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
- Familiarity with traffic systems and regulations is a plus.
