What you’ll be doing
As a Backend Engineer, you will be working on different types of products from websites to enterprise platforms. As part of a cross-functional team focused on delivery, you will be responsible for building the engine that powers the entire product. Here are some examples of how your day will go:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of backend services
- Write clean, maintainable code following coding standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements
- Debug and troubleshoot simple technical issues
- Write technical documentation for code and system processes

Technical Skills:
- Good knowledge of at least one: PHP, Java, .NET (ASP.NET Core)
- Good knowledge in Data structure & OOP
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Proficiency in SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB)
- Basic database design understanding
- Basic knowledge of version control systems like Git
Soft Skills & Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Willingness to take feedback and improve coding practices
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
- Enthusiasm for staying updated with the latest frontend trends and best practices
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Laravel framework or Spring Boot framework
- Familiarity with GraphQL APIs
- Good Understanding of design patterns and how to apply them.
