About Joint Space
Joint Space Polyclinic LLC is a multidisciplinary medical clinic, movement space and educational hub based in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, UAE.
Each patient has their own individual biological landscape, and as such, the philosophy of Joint Space requires each practitioner to approach their patient as a unique individual requiring an in-depth understanding from many perspectives. The environment of Joint Space has been shaped in such a way to provide patients the opportunity to understand their bodies and to learn how to develop longevity in their health through supporting clinical modalities, movement practices and education.
The core practices and focus of Joint Space are physical therapies such as Osteopathic medicine, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic medicine, practices such as Naturopathic medicine, Functional medicine and Regenerative medicine, movement, wellness and sports performance practices, and education for patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Welcoming patients and visitors, answering the telephone and answering any inquiries.
Schedule appointments between doctors and patients.
Ensuring patients are arriving on time and rescheduling them in a timely manner.
Adhere to policy and procedures during all activities.
Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
Keeping a clean and calm reception area.
Processing billing and payments, using medical software
Dealing with insurance questions and invoicing.
Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
Comforting distressed patients – this may range from simply fixing any appointment issues that may arise, through to being the voice of comfort during times of extreme stress and emergency.
Equipment sterilisation and cleaning.
Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies as required.
Booking and organising staff and doctor meetings as required.
Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
Liaising with other medical departments such as radiologists, medical specialists or psychologists with professionalism and discretion.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications and Work Experience
Qualifications And Education
- Secondary school graduate or equivalent required
- Knowledge of MS Office
Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience at a healthcare facility, in a receptionist role
- Medical education or training is preferred (advantageous)
