Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Associate Director of Cost Planning (CDU708) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the development and oversight of cost planning processes for our ambitious projects, ensuring financial accuracy and resource efficiency in alignment with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cost planning efforts for large-scale projects, driving financial strategies that support project objectives.
- Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasting models in collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
- Review and assess project proposals to provide insights on financial feasibility and risk management.
- Monitor and report on project costs, identifying variances and suggesting corrective measures.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and construction teams to optimize cost efficiencies.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff in cost planning and analysis.
- Implement best practices in cost planning and continuously improve processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards in all cost planning activities.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings, presenting cost planning insights and strategies effectively.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 12 - 15 years of relative professional experience in cost planning or related disciplines, with a focus on construction or large-scale project environments.
- Extensive experience in developing and managing complex cost models and budgets.
- Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Cost Professional (CCP), RICS) are highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills, with a keen ability to interpret financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proficient in cost planning software and tools, such as Primavera, SAP, or similar applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
- Knowledge of local regulations and standards related to cost planning and construction in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
