The Opportunity

As a Logistics & Supply Chain Officer, known as a Customer Operations Officer, you will report directly to the Customer Operations Lead T-MEA (Turkey, Middle East & Africa). The role will become part of an organizational area of Customer Operation that includes several countries/affiliates within T-MEA.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage all activities within the order-to-delivery area including customer relationship management, order fulfillment, and liaising with various supply chains as well as relevant enterprise-wide teams to ensure stable supply and a high quality of service to first-trade customers.
  • Ensure a stable supply chain and deliver a high standard of service to first-trade customers and distributors.
  • The role will become part of an organizational area of Customer Operation that includes several countries/affiliates within T-MEA.
  • Oversee inventory management and demand planning functions to align with local market requirements, ensuring optimal stock levels and accurate demand forecasting.

Essential Knowledge & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role with demonstrated effectiveness in a supply chain function with a multinational pharmaceutical organization.
  • Proficiency in SAP O2C or similar ERP systems, with strong knowledge of order management and inventory control.
  • Business skills to deal with external parties based on long-term relationships.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with regional trade compliance is essential.
  • Fluent in English & Arabic.

Preferred Experience

  • Should be able to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Experience in demand planning or audits within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of MEA supply chain dynamics is a plus.

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent.

Additional Information

  • This is a permanent, full-time position
  • Candidates should be based in Cairo, Egypt.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of work from home and a few days in our Cairo office. Flexibility may be required in line with business needs. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
