ESH Officer - Full Time - Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia

We are looking for a/an ESH Officer to join our CT_MTCS (Mass Transfer Components & Services) team in Saudi Arabia.

Purpose of the job:

An ESH officer ensures an organization operates in a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible manner.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

• Ensure all the key indicators on sustainability performance indicators are recorded and monitored on monthly basis (Cost & Consumption)- Discharge Water Input, Energy Input, Hazardous Waste Input, Non-Hazardous Waste Input, Water Input, Refrigerants Input.
• ESH Management reviewing and monitoring (customer & internal ESH Observation, Safety Walk, Incident, Non-Conformance) on timely basis during the projects and regular review with stakeholders. Providing inputs required to Management Information system.
• Workplace Health Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment- Identify and assess potential health hazards in the workplace. Leading implementation various ESH initiatives e.g. campaigns
• Implement camp inspection as per the checklist for Safeguarding the health and well-being of personnel during camp/accommodation selection.
• Coordinate with the project management team in alignment with the customer, ensuring adherence to timelines and project deliverables.
• Driving ESH Committee and foster a culture of safety by involving employees in consultation. Risk assessment updation for facility and sites as an when deemed necessary.
• Maintaining Project Document dossier as per the requirement for all sites. Co-ordinating with resource team for third party resource screening.
• Supporting for Internal and External Audit. Develop & maintain a Inspection/calibration register for tools and tackles for facility/sites. Perform regular safety audits and inspections of the workplace to identify potential hazards in facility/sites.
  
  

To succeed in this role, you will need:

Education: Level: Bachelor

Certifications: University degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

Languages: English with knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Soft skills: General computer skills

Other:

• Certification in Safety Management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
• Proven ability to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and motivate employees on safety practices.
• ISO 14001:2015 Auditor
