Responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all technology systems and infrastructure across the schools group. This role ensures that technology enhances the learning experience, improves operational efficiency, and maintains security and compliance with educational technology standards.
Main Responsibitlities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the schools’ educational and operational objectives.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the education sector.
- Collaborate with school leadership to ensure IT aligns with curriculum needs and future growth.
IT Infrastructure & Operations:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and software applications.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of IT infrastructure across multiple campuses.
- Manage IT service providers, vendors, and external partners to optimize performance and cost efficiency.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Cybersecurity & Data Protection:
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies to protect student, staff, and institutional data.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA) and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and incident response planning.
- EdTech & Digital Learning Support:
- Work closely with educators to integrate technology into teaching and learning effectively.
- Evaluate and recommend learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and other educational technology platforms.
- Provide training and support to teachers, students, and staff to enhance digital literacy.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the IT department budget, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology.
- Oversee procurement, licensing, and contract negotiations for IT assets and services.
- Optimize IT resource allocation to support both administrative and academic needs.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and mentor the IT team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT department.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance metrics to measure IT effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, preferably within the education sector.
- Strong understanding of educational technologies, learning management systems, and IT governance in schools.
- Experience in managing multi-campus IT environments and cloud-based solutions.
- Proven expertise in cybersecurity, data protection, and IT infrastructure management.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and external stakeholders.
- Preferred Certifications:
- ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, or other relevant IT certifications.
