Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies and schedules using SAP-PM. Create and manage equipment master data in SAP-PM, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, balancing immediate needs with long-term maintenance goals.
Estimate time and resources required for maintenance jobs, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Track inventory of spare parts and ensure their availability for routine and emergency maintenance.
Utilize SAP-PM to record, track, and analyze maintenance work, generating reports to assess the effectiveness of maintenance activities.
Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance activities, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
Work with vendors and suppliers for the procurement of necessary tools, equipment, and parts, negotiating contracts and managing relationships.
Train maintenance staff in new procedures and protocols, with a focus on the effective use of SAP-PM.
Academic & Professional experience required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
Certification in SAP-PM is highly desirable.
Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner or in a similar role, with a strong focus on using SAP-PM.
Extensive knowledge of maintenance processes and equipment.
