Job Description

  • Responsible for the movement of documents, materials, linen, instruments among and across the departments in hospital.
  • Obtains signatures from managers/other respective officials in relevant documents.
  • Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member and note down the information in absence of the concerned staff and inform them upon their arrival.
  • Greet public and clients and direct them to the correct staff member
  • Maintain office filing and storage systems
  • Retrieve information when requested
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies
  • Ensure office equipment is properly maintained and serviced
  • Perform work related errands as requested such as going to different departments
  • Keep office area clean and tidy
  • Adheres to all BrightPoint Women’s Hospital’s regulations and policies.
  • Collect & deliver linen from and to different floors.
  • Sort the linen and send to the Laundry
  • Count and collect the laundered linen
  • Collect and return the uniform from and to the staff, by keeping proper records.
  • Collect and distribute materials from and to different departments / floors.
  • Arrange the stocks orderly in the department.
  • Retrieve the items as required by the supervisor and department staff.
  • Enter and maintain the inventory as required.
  • Fax, scan and copy medical record documents
  • Arrange the files in order
  • Sort the scans forwarded by different clinical departments
  • File the documents as required.
  • Arrange the bills
  • Help the administrative staff in arranging the stocks
  • Check the stocks
  • Distribute the medicines as instructed by the pharmacists

Qualifications

  • Qualification: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: nothing specific, but should be willing to get trained as required by the department
