As part of a major FLNG Project, we are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join a key client.

Key responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer encompass:

Facilitating the procurement process of electrical packages, which includes conducting technical bid evaluations and reviewing vendor documents during both the bidding phase and the execution phase, along with overseeing fabrication processes.
Reviewing and validating documentation provided by the Engineering Contractor.
Participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
Providing support throughout construction and pre-commissioning phases by addressing site inquiries.
Assisting with site commissioning and start-up activities as necessitated.

Position based in Dubai for about 2 years with missions in Gabon at the end of the project for site commissioning activities.

Experience in marine / retrofit (FSO, FPSO) …
Experience with E-House, including HVAC
Experience in Oil & Gas, either for an engineering company, or for an EPC Contractor
Experience in the follow up of Vendors for electrical Equipments (HV &LV switchgears, transformers, UPS, bulk items) and E-house
Experience in construction follow-up
Experience in precommissioning, commissioning & troubleshooting is a strong plus.

Able to execute and check calculation notes (with ETAP software or equivalent) for cable sizing, short-ciruit, motor starting
Team player – Proactive - Good problem solving and analytical skills - Excellent written and presentation skills
