Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overhead costs
Manage project budgets throughout the lifecycle, including tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Oversee contract administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, issuing change orders, and administering payments
Monitor project progress and identify potential cost overruns or delays
Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project deliverables are met
Stay abreast of industry best practices and technological advancements in quantity surveying
Provide expert advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on cost-related matters
Contribute to the overall success of Freyssinet Saudi Arabia by providing accurate and timely cost estimates and project management support

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Professional certification as a Quantity Surveyor (e.g., MRICS, RICS)
5+ years of experience in quantity surveying and construction management
Strong understanding of construction contracts and contract law
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Sage)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
