Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Manager/Senior Lead to play a crucial role in driving the strategic initiatives of our organization. This position is designed for a proactive leader who can oversee multifaceted projects, lead teams, and ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.

As the Manager/Senior Lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing project strategies, managing key deliverables, and fostering collaboration across various departments. Your expertise will guide the team to navigate challenges and achieve significant milestones in the development of Qiddiya as a world-class destination.

Key Responsibilities

1- Procurement Strategy Development

  • Develop comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the project goals, focusing on cost efficiency, stakeholder satisfaction, and service delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand procurement needs and establish a roadmap for procurement activities.
  • Conduct market assessments to identify potential vendors and negotiate contracts to deliver the best value.

2- Supplier Relationship Management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and contractors to ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Oversee supplier evaluations and performance appraisals, ensuring compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives regarding supplier performance and procurement processes.

3- Operational Management

  • Manage and guide the procurement team in all operational aspects, ensuring efficient workflows and best practices.
  • Monitor procurement activities to ensure alignment with budget requirements and legal compliance.
  • Facilitate procurement training for staff members to enhance skill sets and knowledge in effective purchasing practices.
  • Ensure all procurement activities are in accordance with corporate processes and procedures to ensure compliance and governance.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management to align procurement efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement performance and strategic initiatives to stakeholders.
  •  Conduct risk assessments to identify potential supply chain disruptions and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.

  • Minimum 9-12 years of relative experience in procurement management or supply chain management, preferably within large-scale projects in construction, hospitality, or similar industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing effective procurement strategies, with strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and strong analytical skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable.
