General Summary

The Associate Director of Asset Development will support the Asset Development function within the Centre of Excellence by partnering and supporting the Business Units throughout the Asset Development process, providing guidance, compliance and governance with the Stage Gate templates and proactively engaging the Business Units for feedback and support. The position emphasizes compliance with strategic frameworks, governance structures, and the Target Operating Model (TOM), aligning with Vision 2030 and Qiddiya’s objectives. Key duties will include ensuring successful execution of Stage Gate processes, streamlining operations, and promoting best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.     Be the Specific Point of Contact for the Business Units for Stage Gate Review for Asset Development covering all asset classes – Landmark, Core, Hospitality, Supporting & Social Assets.

2.     Partner and support the BUs throughout the Asset Development cycle and process, providing guidance on the Stage Gate deliverables ahead of the Stage Gate Review Panels to ensure compliance with the templates and the required level of details.

3.     Propose updates to the Stage Gate process and deliverable templates for Asset Development based on feedback from internal teams.

4.     Propose best practice templates for submission to knowledge management database.

5.     Participate in Stage Gate Review Panels as an observer.

6.     Conduct a governance function to ensure the Stage Gate process and deliverables are complied with on the Unifier system.

7.     Draft or update templates as required for the Stage Gate.

8.     Draft policies and procedures relating to Stage Gates for Asset Development e.g. governance, development policies, best practices.

9.     Manage the CDU’s project tracking systems, overseeing the development of dashboards and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress on key performance metrics, timelines, and budgets.

10.  Implement risk management frameworks to identify potential risks and integrate mitigation strategies across asset development operations.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Bachelor degree in Construction, Project Management, Real Estate or any related field.

8-10 years experience in real estate construction projects with an understanding of the real estate construction process and lifecycle. Must have an understanding of construction documents, development briefs, RFPs, tender documents and deliverables and the various stages of a construction project from concept masterplan to completion.

Would suit a current Project Manager level that has worked on and completed at least 1 development project (any asset).

Experience with project management and workflow tools (e.g. P6, Unifier, Primavera) would be highly valued.
