Job Description
Overview:
Tiffany & Co. is seeking an experienced Finance Director to oversee the financial management of its Middle-East retail entities and trade business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning and analysis (FP&A), maintaining relationships with partners, managing a finance team, and ensuring the overall financial health of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee the financial operations of Middle-East retail entities and trade businesses.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports.
- Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the FP&A function, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
- Support decision-making through detailed financial analysis and recommendations.
- Partner Relationships:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners to align financial strategies and objectives.
- Negotiate and manage financial agreements with partners where relevant.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial regulations.
- Team Management:
- Lead and manage the finance team in the Middle East region.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Ensure the team is aligned with the company's financial goals and objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans where necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related field
- Master's degree in finance, business administration (MBA), or related field (preferred)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other relevant certifications
- 7 to 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related field
- Experience in strategic planning and execution
- Proficiency with financial management software and ERP systems
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
